Innovative new technology for drain-inspections in use at Canal-Control + Clean
Canal-Control + Clean (CC+C) has broadened its range of technical equipment with the latest innovation. The IBAK PANORAMO SI has been introduced at the 2008 trade fair IFAT in Munich as the worlds most ground-breaking technological innovation for drain-inspections.
The 3D-„ball“-image-scanner of the IBAK PANORAMO SI uses two high-definition digital cameras with special wide-angle lenses which are able to provide a complete optical scan of the pipes’ interior within a few seconds by just one transition. The image data is digitally transferred and is available as a live-broadcast, or after recording, as a film about the whole pipe. Until now it was only possible to store the picture details which were made at the moment of recording. The IBAK PANORAMO SI now enables a “gapless” inspection of the pipe as if using a swivel head camera. One can stop at any position of the pipe, swivel 360 degrees, zoom, store a frozen image and add analytical results.
Meanwhile, two of these innovative systems are in use at Canal-Control + Clean. There is an immense demand for this new technique. CC+C’s two new systems are already in use at various projects, e.g. in Vlotho and Goettingen.
