The latest survey of the Federal Environment Ministry – in cooperation with the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) and The Federation of the German Waste Management Industry (BDE) - arrived at the conclusion that recycling stops greenhouse gases. The survey pointed out that the entire waste management sector in Germany has made enormous efforts to reduce these emissions of e.g. carbon dioxide and methane.
There have been many changes in the waste management sector during the past decades. Once a sector of the economy which polluted the environment with its emissions of greenhouse gases, the waste management sector nowadays helps to save the environment and to cut down these emissions. Recycling is the key to success!
Recycling and re-use of materials are the key goals of our business, too. BUHCK runs several plants for the treatment of nearly every kind of waste, from commercial waste to packaging waste. We are frequently asked: What happens to all these materials you don’t sort out and which BUHCK probably can’t use? The answer is rather simple: FLUFF!
FLUFF is a very special material. It is a Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF), a high caloric fuel based on waste which can be used as a substitute for oil and gas. BUHCK runs its own plants for the production of RDF to ensure that FLUFF does not contain any impurities or sources of chlorine. FLUFF is frequently analysed by independent laboratories and helps to cut down greenhouse gases.
You would like to get rid of your packaging waste or any other plastics? Please do not hesitate to give us a ring (+49 40 72 00 00 40). We can offer a full package of services including transport and all legal aspects. Or send us an e-mail (irecker@buhck.de)
We would also like to highlight that BUHCK runs several state-of-the-art landfills in case that recycling is not a feasible solution. A short description of your material, some photos or analysis would be helpful.
