New toy for big boys
The collection and sorting of packaging waste – known as “Gelber Sack” (yellow bag) – is a vital part of our business. Buhck and its subsidiaries organize the collection of packaging waste from more than 270,000 people around Hamburg.
The intermediate storage of these materials is a necessary second step in the entire supply chain (from households to the sorting plant). The implementation of a reliable and efficient transport between storage and sorting plant is the next necessary step.
In order to do so, Buhck obtained a new Walking Floor Truck with a total capacity of up to 92 m³. This truck is probably the fulfilment of big boys (or girls) dreams or - at least - a crucial investment in our ability to cope with extraordinary circumstances such as the transport of voluminous packaging waste. You will find our new “toy” on the roads in the metropolitan area of Hamburg.
