Experiencing recyling - live!

We focus on recycling and in Hamburg-Billbrook run a sorting plant for commercial waste which is virtually unique for Northern Germany. Its name: BESTSORT! 

As part of the Green Capital 2011 you will have the opportunity for a “live experience” of this outstanding sorting plant. Altogether we offer  four dates for your free visit – while in full operation – so as to gain a deeper understanding of “what recycling really means”.

The tours (“Umwelttour”) will take place in English at least once a day on the following dates:

• Friday, 06 May 2011
• Saturday, 18 June 2011
• Friday, 02 September 2011
• Saturday, 22 October 2011

Each tour will take approximately 1 ½ hours and consists of a brief presentation (arrangement and organisation of the plant) and a subsequent guided tour through the plant itself by members of our staff. The number of participants of each tour is limited to 20.  Participation is taken at one’s own risk. A registration is required and can be carried out online (soon), via mail or by phone.
